Cookie policy
What this website stores on your device, and how to change it.
Last updated: October 2026
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Some are needed for the site to work. Others tell us how the site is used, or measure whether our advertising is doing anything.
Your choice
Nothing except the essentials is set until you agree to it. When you first visit, a banner asks what you are happy with. You can change your mind whenever you like.
Your choice is stored in your own browser for six months, then we ask again. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
What is used
Essential
These make the site and its forms work, and they cannot be switched off. They do not track you.
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Your cookie choice | Remembers what you agreed to, so you are not asked on every page | 6 months |
| Netlify form protection | Stops the contact form and health check being used by bots | The visit |
Analytics
Off unless you turn them on. These count visits and show us which pages are read and which are ignored, so the site can be improved. We see patterns across all visitors, not individuals.
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) | Counts visits and pages, and tells returning visitors from new ones | Up to 2 years |
Advertising
Off unless you turn them on. These tell us which adverts brought people to the site, and allow relevant adverts to be shown to you elsewhere.
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Google Ads | Measures which adverts led to an enquiry, and supports advertising on other sites | Up to 2 years |
Turning cookies off in your browser
